Synopsis
It has become increasingly challenging for marriages to sustain in today’s fast-moving society. Intertwined by smart technology, endless work, financial pressures and balancing family expectations have significant impacts on how a marriage is sustained. Couples of all ages are invited to this practical workshop that aims to discuss common issues we face in a marriage and how we can work towards rekindling the love in a marriage.
Topics such as marital communication, conflict management, building love maps, enhancing marital friendship, fostering fondness and admiration for each other will be explored.
This safe space allows couples of different ages and to learn from one another on best practices, and normalise some challenges we commonly experience in our marriages.
This workshop not only aims to support and repair troubled relationships, but also strengthen happy marriages.
Skills and knowledge are facilitated through an assortment of methods, from lectures to hands-on exercises, role-playing and group discussions led by Marriage Therapists.
Amudahis an accredited social worker with the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW) and has more than six years of counselling experience. She has served more than a thousand individuals, families and couples. Her practice wisdom gained from varied professional experiences have paved way for Amudah to unbiasedly and compassionately support her clients to rebuild and repair dysfunctional intra and interpersonal relationships.
