Practising gratitude!

There are existing smartphone applications which have been invented to increase positive emotions, making them convenient and engaging for users living in a fast-paced society. For example, a study was done using a mobile app that allows users to practice positive activities, one of which is the gratitude journal (Parks et al., 2012). Participants experienced increases in happiness and overall positive mood.

Now, it’s your turn to try it!

Step 1: Download this free mobile app called ‘Moment Diary’ on your Apple or Android phone

Step 2: Key into the app 5 things you are grateful or thankful for over the past week and continue to do this once per week.

Why practice gratitude?

In short, you feel happier. We will elaborate more in our upcoming article.
