ElderShield and Interim Disability Assistance Programme for the Elderly (IDAPE) assessments are frequently performed by our doctors.

Zenith Medical Clinic is one of the accredited ElderShield and IDAPE assessors on this list.

For ElderShield assessment, a clinic visit will cost $50 while an assessment done at the convenience of the patient’s residence (housecall) will cost $150. (The price is fixed by the insurer)

For IDAPE, if the patient fulfills the IDAPE criteria, it will cost $10 at the clinic and $40 for housecall.

For review visits, most of the time, it will be free for the patient. You can check your letter for details.

IDAPE Criteria

• You are unable to perform 3 or more of the 6 Activities of Daily Living (ADLs; washing, feeding, dressing, toileting, mobility and transferring).
• You are a Singapore citizen born before 30 September 1932 OR born between 1 October 1932 and 30 September 1962 (both dates inclusive) but with pre-existing disabilities as at 30 September 2002
• Your per capita household monthly income is $2,600 or less OR for households with no income and living in a residence with Annual Value of $13,000 and below.

If it is an ElderShield or IDAPE review, please contact us for a housecall review fully paid for by the insurer. Otherwise, please make an appointment by calling us and telling us the patient’s name, NRIC and the insurance company.

To facilitate the process, please make sure the claim application forms have been filled up and bring them down during the appointment, along with the supporting documents such as the bank book/statement.
